Compared to the general public, Muslims comprise 2% of the low-income economic bracket. 47% of U.S. Muslims think of themselves as Muslim first, rather than identify with their country of birth first. 62% of Muslims in America believe life is better for women in the United States than in Muslim countries. 51% of U.S. Muslims are "very concerned" about Islamic extremism in the world these days. 63% of U.S. Muslims believe there is no conflict between being a devout Muslim and living in a modern society. 71% of Muslim Americas feel that anyone can get ahead in the U.S. if they are willing to work hard.
